SIC LIFE DONATES TO UE@50 November 4, 2010 ISD-BOLGATANGA MUNICIPAL The SIC Life Insurance Company in the Upper East region has donated some assorted items and a checque for 1,020.oo Ghana Cedis in aid of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the Upper East region. The items included 190 branded note pads, 145 T-shirts, 45 polo shirts and 180 SIC branded pens all valued at 3000 Ghana Cedis. The Regional Manager of SIC Life, Mr. Daniel Gariba said the donation was in response to an appeal made by the Upper East @ 50 planning committee. He said the company has been doing business in the Upper East region for a long time and therefore saw the donation as an opportunity to give back to society. Mr. Mark Owen Woyongo, Upper East Regional Minister who received the donation on behalf of the planning committee thanked SIC for the gesture and called on other corporate entities to assist in the anniversary celebrations.
