Ghanaians woke up to the sad news of the passing of Mr. Clement Kubindiwor Tedam in the wee hours of Friday, 26 th April, 2019. The late Hon. C.K Tedam, as he was affectionately called by family and close associates, was born in 1925 in Nandom in the Upper West Region of Ghana. Late C.K. Tedam Late C.K Tedam was a Royal from the Paga Paramountcy in the Upper East Region of Ghana, he was a teacher by training and became a politician much later due to his passion to influence decision making that could inure to the benefit of his people both locally and nationally. He subsequently won elections for the very first time in 1954 as an Independent Candidate. He was a founding member of the Northern People’s Party in the politics of the then Gold Coast. Thereafter, Mr. Tedam won elections again in 1956 on the ticket of this party he had helped to establish.
