NDC RE-ELECTS HON. BAWA AS P.C FOR BONGO 26th August, 2019

Like elsewhere in Ghana, the Bongo District and for that matter, the Bongo Constituency also witnessed that one political  activity that  was simultaneous throughout almost the whole country except for a few constituencies. The activity in question was the National Democratic Congress' [NDC] parliamentary primaries conducted on Saturday, 24th August, 2019 against  the 2020 Parliamentary and Presidential elections. Hon. PREZ NANA ADDO IN UPPER EAST FOR TWO-DAY TOUR 13th AUGUST, 2019

Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is in the country’s Upper East Region for a two-day tour which will afford him the opportunity to assess the impact of his government’s programmes and social interventions in the lives of his fellow countrymen. The President, as part of the tour, will also interact with the chiefs and people of the region through durbars during which he will update the citizenry about government’s development efforts and as well, listen to feedback from them. BONGO DCE FILES NOMINATION FORMS FOR NPP BONGO RACE 1st August, 2019

Hon. Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga, District Chief Executive [DCE] for Bongo in the Upper East Region, has successfully filed his nomination forms at the New Patriotic Party’s [NPP] Bongo Constituency office this Thursday. This thus marks a formal declaration of his intention to contest the Bongo Constituency Parliamentary Primaries on the ticket of the NPP gearing up towards the 2020 general elections, to possibly unseat the current occupant of the seat, the opposition National Democratic Congress.
