READING FESTIVAL HELD FOR BASIC SCHOOLS IN K/N WEST 26th JUNE, 2024

Basic schools from all circuits in the Kassena-Nankana West District of the Upper East Region this Wednesday, converged in Paga, the district’s capital, to battle it out for honours in a reading festival hosted by the district directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES). ADAPT TO DICTATES OF CLIMATE CHANGE OR LOSE OUT 18th JUNE, 2024

  The Kassena-Nankana West District Chief Executive (DCE) Hon. Gerard Ataogye, has underscored the need for farmers in the district’s jurisdiction to be wary of the impact of climate change and to accordingly, adapt to the changes that come with it in order to enjoy the fruit of their labour.  Hon. STAKEHOLDERS RECEIVE ORIENTATION FOR ROLL OUT OF PFJ II 11th JUNE, 2024

  Stakeholders involved in the selection of beneficiary farmers, the distribution of farm inputs and the actual implementation of the Planting for Food and Jobs Phase Two (PFJ II) have been cautioned to eschew all forms of political tendencies in order for the intervention to make maximum impact and benefit Ghanaian farmers who are in real need of the subsidies for their trade. Gerard Ataogye who gave the caution during a day’s orientation meeting held in Paga for zonal coordinators and community agents under the PFJ II, warned that he would not hesitate to cause the revocation of the appointments of anyone found culpable in the implementation process.
