THE GREAT RENAISSANCE PARTY [GRP] IS DULY LAUNCHED 9TH MARCH, 2021

A new political party that is bound to change Ghana’s political landscape positively and to brighten the country’s development fortunes, the Great Renaissance Party [GRP] has been duly launched this Monday evening.The party has a very re-assuring motto - "Renewed For Development".

The official launch of the party which started at approximately 19:45 GMT was done virtually from the party’s headquarters at North Dzorwulu – Accra owing to the prevailing COVID19 directives on public gatherings. Nonetheless, the historic event had a massive e-attendance and active participation as the party’s Executive Committee Members, its rank and file as well as the general public hooked up and stayed on the Zoom link which was widely advertised by party members days leading to the D-day.

After his formal outdooring as the Flag-bearer of the GRP, Mr. Vincent Amedzake was grateful for the honour done him and urged the Ghanaian electorate to trust the party and bank their hopes on it emphasizing that, his party was well-positioned and poised to crush the duopoly in the country’s politics that has wasted and mismanaged resources for decades now.

The flag-bearer holds a Diploma in Communications Studies with Distinction from the Ghana Institute of Journalism [GIJ] and currently a pursuing top-up degree programme in Public Relations at the same institution. He is a very assertive person, noted for being punctual to meetings and other appointments and has exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to lead teams through demanding situations.

The Presidential Candidate always shows admirable interests in leadership and this for instance, has been exhibited when readily took up the role of Course Rep. in each semester to serve his colleague students in various courses such as Broadcast News Reporting, Investigative and Court Reporting among others which, he delivered creditably to the admiration of many.

The Running Mate partnering the flag-bearer is Mr. Foster Emmanuel Okley, a Legon graduate and currently studying for a degree at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

The launch was also used to introduce the party’s Executive Committee members with Mr. Peter Eshun as the Chairman. Mr. Eshun in his remarks, reiterated the assurances made by the flag-bearer of the GRP and added that, the ideologies of the GRP resonated well with the Ghanaian as among them was to create equal opportunities for every individual to get economically engaged to make money for themselves which will on the aggregate, cause national development.

Meanwhile in line with trends in the modern world, the Communications Directorate of the GRP is highly visible and very interactive on a host of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook among others. These handles are listed below as the general public is called upon to engage leadership of the party through these platforms.

MoFA RECEIVES APPROVAL TO SPEND & RECRUIT IN FIGHT AGAINST HPAI 25th OCTOBER, 2021

  Ghana’s Cabinet has given approval for the release of 43,984,017.70 Ghana Cedis to the Ministry of Food and Agriculture in its efforts geared at combating the current outbreaks of the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza [HPAI] in the country. The Minister for Food and Agriculture Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, who announced this at a press briefing held this Monday at the ministry, added that the approval came on the back of a proposal his ministry submitted to Cabinet on the subject matter.
