BOLGATANGA MUN. ASSEMBLY SPENDS OVER 1 MILLION CEDIS ON EDUCATION INFRASTRUCTURE 8th SEPT., 2026
Several hundreds of young children in the Yorogo-Gaabiisi and the Dorongo-Aperiga communities of the Bolgatanga Municipality in the Upper East Region, will no longer trek longer distances outside of their communities to access basic education. This follows the successful completion and subsequent handing over, of two newly-constructed Kindergarten (KG) school blocks in these two communities, projects which together cost the Assembly 1,532,672.9 Ghana Cedis. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bolgatanga, Hon. Roland Atanga Ayoo in the company of the Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Hon. Isaac Adongo on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, commissioned and handed over the KG blocks to the Ghana Education Service and local school authorities for operation and management.
