ROADS IN BONGO TOWNSHIP RECEIVING MASSIVE FACELIFT 28th OCTOBER, 2020

  Some three town roads within the Bongo township, capital of the Bongo District of the Upper East Region are being constructed in the Assembly’s efforts to open up the immediate communities as well as ease travelling in and outside the capital. The roads include the Bongo central market-Tingre-Atampiisi stretch, the filling station-Valley View-old Fire Service road and the Apiogea-Abagre stretch of road. The Contractor Working On the Apiogea-Abagre road District Chief Executive [DCE] for Bongo Hon. Peter Ayinbisa Ayamga who led some reporters on a tour to inspect the progress of works on the said roads, observed that the roads had been left to deteriorate through the decades to the extent that they were almost unmotorable especially during the rainy seasons. He said his administration therefore decided to source funding to put the roads back in good form to remove the bottlenecks his constituents were facing regarding movement via these roads. UE-RHC OF CHIEFS SWEARS IN NEW PREZ & VICE 23RD OCTOBER, 2020

  The Upper East Regional House of Chiefs [UE-RHC] has sworn into office two new executives, the President and his Vice to lead the House for the next four years. They are the Paramount chief for the Chiana traditional area, P Ɛ Ditungdini Adiali Ayagitam III and Naba Anonsona Anthony Abisa III of the Mirigu traditional area respectively. Together, they take over from the immediate past President, the Naga Naba and his Vice, the Bo-Naba. PRESIDENT NANA ADDO EARNS PRAISE FOR KEEPING DEVELOPMENT PROMISES 7th OCT., 2020

  The President, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has given strong assurances to the chiefs and people of the Upper East Region that, he has no intentions of abandoning his promises for the comprehensive development of the region and other parts of Ghana. CYBER SECURITY ADVISOR CALLS FOR QUICK PASSAGE OF C.S DRAFT BILL 6th OCT., 2020

  The Government of Ghana’s National Cyber Security Advisor Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, has made urgent calls to Cabinet to pass the draft cyber security Bill with speed and urgency which he posited, will strengthen the legal regime to induce the required deterrent as far as cyber-crime is concerned.
