  A day’s workshop on ECOWAS protocols, border security and terrorism has ended in Paga, capital of the Kassena-Nankana West District of the Upper East Region, with a call on participants and the citizenry to make conscious efforts to acquire in-depth knowledge on the various ECOWAS Protocols on Democracy and Good Governance, Free Movement of Persons, Goods and Services as well as, Trade Facilitation. The workshop was under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration with Media Response, as a collaborator and assistance from the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council. The Coordinating Director, Multilateral and International Oganisation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ambassador Mrs. Perpetua Dufu who made the call, said such knowledge will enable Ghanaians to take advantage of the benefits that come with Ghana’s membership of the Regional Body. YOUNG NATIVE DONATES TO NAVRONGO HOSPITAL 2nd MAY, 2023

A citizen of Navrongo and a native of Pungu, Mr.   Adivila Fuseini who is domiciled in the United States, has donated assorted medical consumables and medical equipment to the Navrongo War Memorial Hospital this Tuesday morning.   A Look At Some of The Items The package included 10 digital blood pressure monitors, 10 non-contact infrared thermometers, 10 packs of surgical blades with each containing 100 pieces, 10 surgical single-use sutures and a quantity of scalpel surgical blade holders.  Mr. Adivila [in Red Sweater], Dr. Wedam Receiving       At a brief meeting at the hospital to make the donation, Mr. Adivila disclosed that he learnt of the hospital’s needs through a conversation with the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. Eric Wedam who happens to be his classmate some years ago at the Navrongo Secondary School, NAVASCO and so, he decided to help out.  Mr. Adivila who is a service man with the US Army   declined to reveal the cost of the items, but maintained that,
