FOUR SCHOOLS RECEIVE DUAL DESKS FROM BOLGA EAST D.A 11th MAY, 2021

Some four basic schools in the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region, have all together received a total of 180 dual desks from the Assembly at a brief presentation ceremony this Tuesday morning, held at the forecourt of the District Assembly’s offices. The schools included the T.I Ahmadiyya, the Zuarungu Moshi, the Nimolgo and the Grace Preparatory Primary schools.  Hon. Abole Making his Remarks   Acting District Chief Executive [DCE] Hon. Emmanuel Abugre Abole in his remarks said, the presentation formed part of efforts by the Assembly to make pupils comfortable in the teaching and learning environment. He disclosed that the package was funded by the Ministry of Education and gave the distribution breakdown as follows; T.I Ahmadiyya got 80 sets of the dual desks, Zuarungu Moshi received 60 pieces, Grace Preparatory had 38 of them and 22 were given to the Nimolgo primary school. Emmanuel Abugre Abole for his proactive interventions and his alertness in ensuring value-for-money on the almost-completed new assembly block complex. DEPUTY CLERK OF PARLIAMENT GOES HOME 1ST MAY, 2021

Reverend Father Emmanuel Acheampong of the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Diocese of the Catholic Church, has made an urgent appeal to the Parliament of Ghana to enact a law that will set strict standards and guidelines for the broadcast of religious content on the country’s television and radio networks to stem what he termed “the misleading of God’s people and the perpetual presentation of shortcuts to wealth making through ritual undertakings”. Rev. Fr. Acheampong Father Acheampong who was preaching the sermon at the burial service for the late Deputy Clerk of Parliament, Mr. Robert Ageya Apodolla at the Basilica in Navrongo this Saturday, delivered his appeal directly through the Honourable Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin who was personally seated at the service. The top brass of Parliament including the Minority Leader, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, a good delegation of Members of Parliament and the staff of the Parliamentary Service were all in attendance. Past minist
