ATTEND THE CHRISTMAS EVE MUSICAL CONCERT AT COUNTRYSIDE HOTEL ON 24TH DEC., 2020

 The Events and Programmes Department of the famous and plush A.A Country Side Hotel in Paga, is set and ready to treat patrons, lovers of great live musical performances and the general public to a night of unforgettable entertainment come 24th December, 2020.

 

Two of the Upper East Region’s finest crop of musicians in the contemporary Kassena-Nankana music industry are billed to serve music lovers the best dose of best-selling songs live on stage back-to-back on the eve of Christmas Day under the event dubbed “CHRISTMAS EVE LIVE MUSICAL CONCERT”.

The young and evergreen Anthony Zunga, affectionately known and called by many as Holy Bird or the King of Kassena-Nankana Music, will be rocking the stage on the 24th night  of this December, 2020 with elcetrifying performances of his hot singles including the latest – “Nabiina Korri Chira Ba Dwoi We”, “Vangi Si Ku Di”, “Wiira Di Torna” amongst a host of the others you are all familiar with.

Meanwhile from Upper East region’s capital of Bolgatanga, the man Atimbila, acclaimed as the talented Kolgor music superstar, will give out all his best music antiques and show his spectacular singing prowess to patrons of the event and the general public that are expected to attend this memorable showbiz event. Atimbila, since his impressive showing which earned him a slot in the final four at the October 2012 MTN Hitmaker music reality show,  has been credited with great national and international hit tracks such as “Nice Me” - featuring Sarkodie, “Ordo Na Ye” - featuring Keche and “Sister Wope Mianaa” produced by Possi-Gee among others.

Atimbila who is master-craftsman of the Gurune [Frafra] traditional musical instrument, the Kolgor, can do just about anything musical in a matter of seconds and one will have no choice, but love it and vibe with it. He has played countless shows both within and outside Ghana, the most recent ones being a well-attended event in Burkina Faso’s capital of Ouagadougou in December 2019 alongside  his music-pals, D&D while he also earlier the same year, performed in Holland [the Netherlands] at the “Year of Return Networking Concert” in September, 2019.

Being his ever time to play a show  at the A.A Country Side Hotel in Paga, Atimbila told atogewe.blogspot.com that, he was not leaving anything to chance as he pledged to leave an indelible in Paga and on the minds of everyone buying tickets to attend the show on 24th December, 2020.

Zunga on the other hand, is not knew to shows at the A.A Country Side Hotel and in Paga in general. In May 2019, he single-handedly played a show to mark the 2019 Workers’ Day [May Day] and it was a hugely patronised event. It will be recalled that, at a point the King of Kassena-Nankana music was climaxing his performances on stage even with rain threatening that night, the fans and patrons kept asking for more and didn’t want him to leave the stage. According to Zunga, this upcoming musical show on 24th December, 2020 will be unique in its own form and package and no one should miss out. He jokingly said “it’s an event for all the Living and so, anyone who fails to attend the show, is probably not alive”.

The Chief Communications Officer of the A.A Country Side Hotel, Mr. Peter Atogewe Wedam meanwhile, guarantees the general public of a well-planned event worth their money and urged all music lovers to get their Advance Tickets to the show for only GHc10.00 as the tickets at the gate on the event night were pegged at GHc15.00.

He gave the Number 024-011 19 97 as an active contact any person can call to buy tickets either through MoMo or personal purchase. “No reason must hold you back from attending this beautiful pre-Christmas Day show to welcome the birth of Jesus Christ our Redeemer”, he emphasised.


Mr. Wedam gave the assurance that COVID-19 protocols will be strictly followed on the night of the event as every person will be made to wash their hands with soap under running water and sanitise their hands at the main gate before entry. A staff of the hotel will also take everyone’s temperature with  the prescribed apparatus at the gate before entry is allowed.

A.A Country Side Hotel is a modern magnificent 14-Room hotel, strategically sited on your entry into Paga from Navrongo just about a minute or 30 seconds drive from the Paga Police Station making a branch on your right. Meanwhile, patrons or guests entering  from Paga town or through the Paga border, can easily locate the hotel after driving past the Paga Pio’s beautiful palace in about two-to-three minutes and taking left turn just on the directional sign post.

A day’s training workshop for the roll out of a pending nation-wide public education and sensitization campaign on the Single Window Citizens Engagement Service [SWCES], has taken place in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital, this Thursday, February 15, 2024. OVER 10 PROJECT SITES HANDED OVER TO CONTRACTORS IN KWD UNDER SOCO 19th NOV., 2023

A number of sites earmarked for the construction of several projects ranging from market stalls, CHPS compounds, Culverts, mechanized boreholes to a butcher shop and more, have been handed over to contractors for execution across several communities in the Kassena-Nankana West District of the Upper East Region.
